My buddy was given the above unit without the transducer, power cable and mount. It's not hot. Does anyone have these parts for cheap? He also needs to transfer waypoints from a Himminbird Helix to the new Lowrance unit but doesn't know how. Any help? Thanks

Don’t think there’s a route to transfer waypoints from one brand to another.

The Lowrance website should have the parts you need. Might be worth checking eBay too.

1. First you need to export your waypoints from helix to an sd card.

2. Once you do that, figure out which file type the hds carbon accepts. This shouldn’t be hard to figure out.

3. Convert to the appropriate file type and upload the waypoints via sd card to the hds carbon.

I use to use GPS Visualizer to convert Garmin files to Lowrance USR files. Does this still work?
