As mentioned it has been hot/humid and hazy with the smoke from the wild fires - I was able to get out in the evening on Friday and the morning on Saturday to try and beat the heat - I tried a few different lures/baits without any success -BOFUBass2.jpg I tried this Baum BUFO 55 (a spider type bait, EWG hook and 1/16th oz weight) - it worked well along the isolated reed lines and even better when I put it a bit into the reeds - on one cast it got hung up on a reed and dangled and a LMB came right up out of the water to grab it ! an exciting catch !!
