6th Sense "Silent" 97 DDSI Provoke Jerkbaits

Featured Replies

I really like silent jerkbaits, fish a lot of MegaBass 110 Jr. +1 baits and while they obviously rock they are 1) expensive and 2) not silent.

Been browsing the internet and found that 6th Sense has a 97mm deeper diving jerkbait, in some great colors seemingly that is, silent. Anyone ever fished one of these?

How do they suspend out of the package in say 45 degree water, or maybe 65 degree water?

Overall, how do you like them? Never fished anything made by 6th Sense.

Thank you in advance!

I bought a couple last season and can’t remember if I tried them. I can keep you posted in a month or two when the ponds unfreeze.

I can at least confirm that they are a true silent bait.

The silent MBs arent silent?

There are some guys who really think a lot of the provoke. They arent expensive, so it would be worth trying.

You can't buy the silent MB's in the "Jr" size or any deeper diving configurations, just the standard 110, which I have a few of and like them quite a bit, but I do prefer a smaller bait at times and especially ones that can dive as deep or a little deeper than the standard 110's. Probably 80% of the time I fish an MB anymore, it's a +1 configuration, the Jr. early in the year and the 110 +1 later in the year. Can't get either one in a silent configuration though.

I ordered some of them to try, in the same boat as you regarding frozen lakes, but hoping to get South this month and fish a little. Will report back my thoughts.

I haven't tried any of the silent Provokes, but I own probably close to 20 Provokes and really like then. The fish seem to be pretty big fans also.

Dang. Seems like they work as intended.
