Have any of you fished both of these? I really liked the bass assassin down in Florida. If so, what hooks size do you like?

Gama 6/0 EWG is what I like...I've got several packs of both brands. I am a little partial to Bass Assassin as I was partnered with them in the past and it's an awesome small family ran business.

Z-man also has a 7''....another good one.

You reminded me I did actually try these one summer but for bringing over and punching through heavy vegetation. I think I used a 6/0 hook as well and let them drop into holes in thick matts. Worked well, if only I had a rod at the time to properly set the hook lol.

I always favored Lunker city's plastic over Zooms. I use to crush em on garlic scented grape fire tail bass assassin worms.

I like BA/SWA's flukes over Zoom even more than the worms. I like the staight tail over the split and again I just feel the plastic is higher quality than Zoom.
