Ok what does everyone use the most ,this can be braid ,floro, mono ,super lines. This covers it all i hope muddy water ,clear ,murky, rocky ,grass, sticks,

I use anywhere between 4# mono to 30# power pro (different aplications, different species), but most of my BASS fishing is with 10# . The bass in MI don't grow as big as in southern states.

I use 12# Trilene XL on all my baitcasting rigs except one. I'm trying 30# braid on one of my rigs. I haven't used braided line since using braided dacron years ago. All my spinning reels have 6# Trilene XL.

I use Trilene XL as well on all of my rods, but recently i have been trying out the new suffix mono and my results are not so good.  The memory of the line is too high to be fishing a jig with it and even crankbaits or spinnerbaits... I dont see this line being good for anything.  I'm pretty sure that I will be switching back to the Trilene.  Oh yeah and 12# is monofilament is where its at.  Yeah sure braided line is stronger and will rip through the weeds, but im not worried about the weeds half as much as I am about ripping the hook out of a fishes mouth... With monofilament there is some stretch to keep the hook from ripping the fishes jaw.

I tend to use 10lb P-line floroclear more than anything but I use alot of different lines for various specific things, like 50lb PowerPro braid for heavy cover, 14lb Gamma (just purchased) or 15 P-Line floroclear for worms and jigs, 6lb P-Line or 6lb Yo-Zuri for light cover or open water with my spinning reels, and 10lb P-Line Evolution (also new) for just whatever.

I guess, I'll use anything as long as it catches fish.

Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft.....#6 on spinning and #12 on baitcast ....except #12 Trilene XL on crankbait rig
