bladed jig Rod

100% sure I stand alone on this.

but the MB BanderSnatch is outstanding for me. soft tip, great sensitivity so I can feel even smaller bladed jigs vibrating at the end of the line. when I feel the blade stop because it hits grass, the rod backs that soft tip up with some backbone to yank it thru.

it is also great at working lipless and crank thru grass. same reasoning.

soft tip sends them way downrange on those far cast to far targets.

My bladed jig rod is a NFC blanked Kistler KLX MH/MF I've had forever.

I've got a few setups. If I'm skipping under docks and sitting in my kayak I'll use a 6'9" MH Kistler Helium. Any other time I'm using a 7' 2" MHF Expride. I'm usually straight braid or braid to flouro leader.

line first. I kept breaking off jackhammers so I had to up from 14# fc flouro to 18 # shooter.

Reel is always a 7:1 since I’m pull through thick grass.

Here is where I’ll add a decision model and you can choose your own adventure.

If you want better feel of the blade vibrate

Dobyns dc xp 734c

High end model: megabass p5 Daemos. Not the destroyer USA only p5

Better Landing ratio but less feel of the blade.

Dobyns champ 735 cb glass.

I use 3/8 oz with spunk shad usually.

In a pinch I use my Megabass destroyer p5 tequila Baccarac as well. Not the best but it works.
