I'm in the market for a crank bait rod/reel combo.  After a lot of comparison shopping I've narrowed it down to the Shimano  Chronarch 100BPV reel and the St. Croix Avid AC66MF rod.  Because im going a little over budget, I'm looking for some thoughts on weather its money well spent.  I've also looked at the Diawa Steez burner but I find the Chronarch to be a better all purpose reel as I also enjoy fishing for walleye.  What do you think??

    AC66MF/ Shimano Calais CL200ASV  (although you might prefer the CL100A)

    I put a Chroanch BSV on a 6-6 GLX med/Hvy for an allaround combo. It works great and I can fish inshore and freshwater.
