Torn on the dropshot

Featured Replies

I finally admitted that my eyes suck, and tried those weird looking Standout hooks last night. I’ll be damned if they don’t work really well. The big bend in place of an eye makes tying on in low light way easier, and they flat hook up.

I’m not sure I’d switch to them for tournament use, but for an evening dinking trip these things just might be the deal.

Have not tried them...yet.

My sunglasses have readers built in. So I can still use "normal" hooks...

These things have been laying on my dashboard for the last year - I decided to throw one on based on the lack of desire to get the rigging box out. Turned out to be really easy in the dark, so we’ll give them a shot in tonight’s tournament and see how that goes.
