I know im gonna sound like all the other 100s of people who are trying to learn to use a jig..but I am and If anyone could tell me a good starter jig to get me confident with them and a little clue on how to fish them? Also if anyone has some good tips on fishing them in like 40ft of water that would really help my situation right now...Thanks Big B  ;D

I would start with some strike kings from wallymart....they're inexpensive and work decent.

Nothing to get upset over when you leave one stuck in some wood 10' down.
