I have a Symetre 2500. I love the reel but absolutely hate the handle. Is this upgradeable? If so, where?

Google search sent me to ebay, not my preferred route.

    The handle that came on it it has a ton of play in it. Just real sloppy. Actually it is play in the knob. They should have put a spacer in it to take up the slack. The screw is tight so that is not the problem.

    So in short, I would like a handle with little to no play in it.

    (I never really noticed it till I bought a Tierra. Now that is a sweet reel.)

    Wrap some thread around in the space and see if that helps.

    Have the reel replaced or get it fixed.

    The Symetre is one of the finest reels in the Shimano line-up. It is THE BEST reel at its pricing point.
