REALLY impressed with Gloomis and The Tackle Box, a local tackle shop

So THREE YEARS ago I bought this rod, two of them actually, Muskie rods that I had intended to use in Brazil.  One of the rods never got used, It has been sitting in my office at home in the corner. I called the Tackel Box, where I bought it, and they inturn called Gloomis to see if I could exchange it for another Glooms rod - and they said yes!  The rod is seriously like 3 years old!  Full credit!  I'm getting their Senko rod, the 7'5" GLX rod that The Natural raves about.

Their rods may be pricey, but their customer service is without parallel!

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm sure being such a good customer helped too. :o

Robert,

It's a big reason why I fish with Loomis. I have had several rods replaced under their warranty and it has always been "no questions asked". The rods are awesome to fish with also.

Coming from a big fan of Kistler rods,  Loomis's warranty is probably the best in the buisness.  I can't believe I typed that.  :o

Loomis definitely takes care of their customers, as well as the sales staff of their dealers.

I used to be strictly St. Croix until I got my IMX. I'll just say that if any of you out there get the chance to work for a G. Loomis dealer, don't pass up when the representative offers to sell you a few rods a piece at prices you'll never see again. ;D 8-) :o

Customer Service is the main reason I updated all my rods to G Loomis. I know there may be more sensitive, lighter, and fancier rods out there then G Loomis, but I don't think you will find a better customer service (well, Cabelas has a little better warranty and customer service on their rods), but G Loomis is top shelf.

BTW Redline Robert, that GLX Senko Rod is made perfectly for Senko style baits (along with other weightless plastics).  I have one and I use it more then all my other rods combined.
