i just bought my first kistler spinning rod and i matched it w/a pfleuger

supreme spinning reel  it weighs 12 oz even and casts like a dream

Bass brat how do you like that combo ? Everythings frozen over here so i've only casted in my back yard just to try it out and it casts great and feels good to me but i've never fished w/ it.

Don't have the rod, but absolutely love that reel. With the right rod, you can cast the lightest baits with that thing without issues.
