I got to see this reel at the Classic.  I personally didn't think much of it's appearance, but I have no clue how it performs on the water.  I just think Abu is coming out with a few to many Revos.  I think they should keep it at 7 imo.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see if they made any significant changes to it or just colored it yellow and put his name on it.

Sounds good to me.  Make it available in 5:1 ratio and I'd want one.  I have been thinking about the 5:1 gearing swap for a SX and adding the inshore handle.  Would be a good crankin' reel.

I too saw it at the Classic and figured it would be around the price of the STX.  Guessed wrong!  I won't be buying one at the $280 mark.  Sorry Abu!  Love the STX and SX's though.
