Welcome aboard!

8-)

I am sold on fluorocarbon on baitcasters! The sensitivity is WAY better than mono! I catch more fish with it. I fished P-line 15lb all last year and loved it! I have original Seaguar and Invisix on two baitcasters right now because I couldn't find anything else before my first trip. I have found nothing wrong with either one. The regular Seaguar is thicker than both Invisix and P-Line though. I plan on trying the XPS this year. If I like it I will probably stick with it!

I have spooled up one spinning reel with 8lb Invisix and will see how it performs. If it does well I will stick with it.

PS.....HALO and Fluoroclear are not pure Fluorocarbon lines.

I just started using Flurocarbon again this year after a bad expierance with it a few years ago. I am using the new Berkley Trilene 100% professional grade stuff. I have used it on 2 outings now and I am sold on it,  no knot problems, casts and handles on both spinning and casting gear great, abbrasion resistant.  Best test I could give it so far was a 5lb3oz LM today, it sure impressed me.

Berkley 100% offers the green tint fluorocarbon now too, the green tint is supposed to eliminate any flash that may happen underwater with their clear fluorocarbon.

I've used Berkley Vanish Transition and Bass Pro Shops XPS Fluorocarbon lines.

I really like the BPS XPS fluorocarbon and you can get it on sale. Just purchased four 200yd spools of 14lb last week for $9.37 a spool. I have it spooled on several Quantum Energy PT baitcast reels and it spools and casts really well. I had been using Suffix Elite mono and the fluorocarbon is so much more sensitive.

Just recently made the jump to Flurocarbon on half of my set ups. I'm sold. The sensitivity is amazing, especially in windy conditions when your mono is going to bow out like a parachute.

I've been using the BPS XPS after watching the Knot Wars where they pitted all of the brands against each other. XPS came out on top in most categories.
