Im thinking about buying one of these soon for spining. Im seeing from other people if its a good rod and if i should buy it I've been fishing alot of shaky head at norman fishing the fishers of men tournaments and need to feel alot more bits because i missed some nice ones :'( so if you could help me out that would be great!!! thanks guys ;D

These rods are considered the best on the domestic market. I see you're only 11  , do you think you can come up with between 250.00-350.00 ?

I dont know lots, but i have heard repeatedly g-loomis is good for IMX and GLX.  But there are beter options than G-lomis if you were looking at there lesser rods.

I agree 100%.  Hats off to you and that Loomis rod will feel even sweeter because you earned it as opposed to having your parents buy it.  Consider yourself a rarity among those your age. :o

The most popular G.Loomis spinning rod is the SJR783S. I suggest this one in the IMX series.

This suggestion might be taboo on a Loomis thread  :), but if you're biking to the water hole the 2-piece version might be easier to transport.

I admire your ambition and dedication.  What are you going to use for a reel?  Have Fun!
