Well I got my carrot stix today a 7'3 med/hvy fast action and a curado 200dpv.  *** did a superb job shipping both items. there was not a thing wrong with either.  

My first impression of the carrot stix was.... Whoa! this is unbelievably light!  

Anyway,  I put the carrot stix down to spool up the curado to give it a test run to make sure everything is working properly, before I send out the rebate.  And what do I do...  I knock my brand new reel off my tailgate, onto the concrete and put 2 nice scratches on it.  Man I am ticked about that.  

What can I do?  Its my fault and everything seems to working properly so I will just have to deal with it.

Congrats on the new outfit. I just got my first order from Tackleware house - I'm also a pleased client.

Bummer about the scatches. I tried writing something funny (but didn't succeed...) I have a tendency to put scatches in anything that is new and high quality. However, once the first scratch happens, I can then enjoy using the equipment rather than worrying about keeping up its appearance.

Looking forward to hearing how well the combo works for you.

I have the exact same setup as you which I use for my frog rod. It's not afraid of 65lb braid and I loaded up on the bass 2 weeks ago at Toledo Bend with this setup.

I also have 4 other Carrot Stix w/ Curados that I have set up for: plastics/T-rigs, Carolina rigs, flipping and cranks. I'm using the 6'9" parabolic action for cranks but it's a little longer than I care for, especially for top water. Their 6'6" is a little too stiff for cranks. That's the one that I find ideal for plastics.

I love my carrot stix/curado combo.  I plan on using mine mostly for worms and jigs.  I am thinking about selling my 2 st. croix and  my shimano crucial crankbait rod and buying 3 more carrot stix.  Just can't let the gf find out how much they are.  I told her that setup only cost $100... if only she knew. LOL!
