Newbie from Orlando here. ... how would you guys compare Daiwa Steez rods with Loomis GLX line? Leaning towards Daiwa but I real have no experience with them..

    I have several of both, love them for different reasons. If I had to pick one (ok maybe three) then I would have to say that the 7'1" Steez, the JDM Wylie, and the 8" Steez flippin stick are on a different level. From the GLX line the 7'11" flippin stick and the 7'5" senko rod are my two favorites. At the moment. :)

    If you are into enthusiast rods, may I also suggest you look at Megabass rods as well as the Evergreen Temujin line...
