I choosing between the pflueger president reel or the abu garcia 600 reel. Which reel do you guys like better.

Go with the president hands down, had mine for a year and a half now and havent found anything that i don't like yet.

Both are great reels, you can't go wrong with either but I can tell you I am loving the president. It was my Father's day gift and it is quickly becoming my favorite reel.

I haven't fished a pfleuger before but I have fished an abu and I really liked it.  The one I had was small UL reel, I think it was called a Cardinal but I can't remember the number.  I bought it at wal mart for about $30 three or four years ago.

pflueger by far.

Bomth reels  are good ones. You cannot go wrong with either. Matter of preference.
