Has anyone used Yo-Zuri Hybrid in the smoke purple color?  I missed out on the BPS sale for the 600 yds of 12 lb green.  Only clear and purple are available in 12 lb.  In what type of water does the smoke purple excel in?

The purple smoke blends perfectly with stained water. In gin clear water, green is the ticket.

whats your opinion on clear?  I would say I can see 3 maybe 4 feet down in my lake

I fish all the colors, but I'm not a big fan of "Clear". I have it on a couple of rigs just because it compliments the reels!

I was using one of RW's rods at Guntersville earlier this year.  He had the clear spooled on a chronarch.  I was throwing a trap with it and it seemed to work perfectly to me...

I just ordered a 1/8 lb spool in purple... couldn't really not order it at that price
