Cabela's Bargain Cave steal

Featured Replies

I was in my local Cabelas (Rogers, MN)  the other day and decided to swing by the bargain cave when I see the sign "20% off all fishing equipment except electronics."

I ended up leaving with a Shimano Curado 300DSV for $93 and Cabelas Fish Eagle II 6'6" Medium 2 pc casting rod for $40.  I think they are both returns but appear to be in great condition (especially the Curado).

I am still thinking about going back to pick up another reel I saw there - an Ambassadeur Record 60 that would end up being about $60.

Something doesn't add up you are probably right about the return

Curado is normaly $199 ? x 20% off = approx $159  ????

Last month: I got 3 Cabela's Fish Eagle II form the bargin cave on line delivered to the Hamburg PA store for 30 bucks each!

If you are on Cabela's email list, you will occassionally receive email specials that are even lower than the "rock bottom prices."

That's true!1 Don't you find that sometimes there are in large lots through the email offerings also?

I went to my local Cabela's (in St. Louis) two weekends ago. They had various LC Pointers marked down to $9.98 so I picked up a handful of them.  Whats even more awesome-when I got to the check out, they rang up for $6.98.
