I know the new Curados are supposed to be on the shelves this month... any idea WHEN? I am getting back on Thursday so I can actually PLAN on when I can go and see about getting one..

I have not seen any in stock, nor seen either of the wholesalers I deal with ship any yet.

Pretty safe bet they will be quite scarce until mid-late September.

Hey I got this 2 weeks ago from Cabelas: They are the featured reel on the back of the new Cabelas Fall Fishing catalog, on the back page, AVAILABLE 9/15/08. they are taking orders now

They also have 3 pages of all the new 09 SHE-MAno reels in there also

I do not use these products, so if someone wants my catalog I will mail it to them

A buddy of mine (Tackle shop owner) told me that mid to late October was a more realistic date.

I almost bought one the other day at my local tackle shop he has them already. I will tell you on thing these reels blow away all the other curados in the past. The only reason I didn't buy it was becouse my wife was with me and I was already there to pickup the carrot stick I ordered.

I get mine Thursday.

I'm not sure yet I don't get mine until this Thursday, but when I do get it I will be sure to let you all know.

Played with one at a local store today.  They palm nice and certainly are smooth.

Still not giving up my Revos for them just yet.  And I don't care just how sacred the old green Curados were.  There's just no reason to make a reel in ugly green, IMO.

I considered getting the new green Curado and pairing it with a Carrot Stick for the hands-down ugliest combo ever assembled.
