I seen that the other day browsing Tackle warehouse..... I read it and just went  .Plain ridiculous....

Pretty common among JDM rods really.  Most JDM companies offer no warranty at all on their rods to American consumers.  If you think that's bad, some Gan-Craft rods sell in the $800.00 range with no warranty.  Good looking rods though... ;)
