I truly looked for a topic already about this but couldn't find one. I'm looking to buy monofilament for topwater. I'm already planning on yo zuri hybrid for my cranking set up. Whats the best topwater monofilament price is no issue

I use P-line CXX in 15# for TW.  Its not nylon mono, but a much stronger copoly.

If you like the Hybrid, it can be used for all techniques.

I was just concerned about the float it would have in the heavier lines I want i line that floats well to really get that walk the dog action

The fact that Yo-Zuri doesn't sink has no impact what-so-ever on

any bait, lure or presentation. It "floats" due to surface tension, it

is not buoyant like a PFD.

I use Trilene XT for topwater fishing, decent amount of stretch and very abrasion resistant.
