No, it will not.  It is not invisible under water and the company will admit that it is not.  I think it is called marketng.  I like Ultra Cast a great deal, but use the green where I fish.

I have heard it referred to as invisirope....honestly I don't think it's possible to have an invisible braid.

It's not invisible what so ever, I have some 10lb invisibraid which is 2lb diameter, even it is HIGHLY visible. Green braid is much less visible then this stuff.

I tried the 30# Invisabraid and found that it digs into itself on the reel spool under tension more than any other braid I have tried. My thought of why, is because the finish is so slick. I tried it on baitcasting and spinning grear with the same result. I even tried it on the old Spidercast baitcaster which is designed to cross wind to prevent digging in, but it still did it. I purchased it for it's above water visibility. Just another line that failed the functional test.

agree%100!!!the visibility is only a problem if you think it is.

Used the 30 and 50 lb. all last year and didn't have a problem of digging in. I normally tie my braid to a fence post and the walk off as far as I think I can cast and then reel it back on under a lot of tension. This process I believe prevents digging in on any braid. I also color the first 3 - 4 feet of line black so it is no more visible then the green, but I can see it.

Rangerjoe, I do somewhat the same when spooling on braids. But all that compactness is lost while fishing. I don't put the line under a lot of tension during a retrieve when plastic worm fishing.
