Spiderwire Ultracast Invisi-Braid Line

Featured Replies

Has anyone used the Spiderwire Invisi-Braid line before. Right now I use Sufix braid. I like the strength of it but it sticks out like a sore thumb on some of the lakes I fish at. Just wanted to know if it was really invisible or clear in the water or is that a bunch of marketing hype. Also what about trying some of the Fireline in crystal color. I will be using it on spinning gear. Thanks for all you guys input. Mike 8-)

I have not used the Invisi-Braid, but I do use 15b Untracast on one of my spinning reels and it is terrific braid.  Very smooth to use.

There is no such thing as invisible braid.

Did not care for this line at all.  I bought two spools of it last year and put it on two different reels.  It did not cast well and it also seemed to absorb lots of water causing the line to swell.  It would then cause it to bite into the rest of the line on the spool.  I would not recommend it.
