Featured Replies

Hey guys going to buy my first flippin stick. I'm looking for a telescopic rod so I can fit it in the bed of my truck. I've been looking at the TD-LT but wanted to see some of you guys favs. Looking to spend around 150

I picked up my Kistler Flippin' and Pitchin' Special for about $100 last spring. Great rod.  The L&T series are great rods as well.

I have the Kistler Magnesium All Day Flipping and Pitching Stick (MgADFPSH78T). It is a great rod. It is also great for frogs and small swimbaits.

I love my TD-LT.

Fenwick has a HMG (7'6" XH) that telescopes. They have one in the Techna line too.

A regular short bed will hold up to an 8' rod if you lay it diagonally.

Quantum has the Energy PT flippin stick that is telescopic. I picked one up on Tackle Warehouse for $110.

Make sure you get a rod sleeve and a reel cover.  The thought of a rod and reel bouncing around in the back of a pickup makes my fillings hurt.
