I had great success fishing the 7" Yum and BPS senkos this year. I have been using Owner Off Set Shank - Wide Gap 5/0 hooks. I am wondering what hooks you guys are using on these larger senkos.

I noticed a few times when I missed a fish, the senko was bunched up in the bend of the hook. Do you guys put any glue at the eye to prevent this from happening?

 Mustad makes a weighted hook with a keeper that I like alot also.

I like to use a Gamakatsu G-Mag Over-Sized in them  

 

wow dont i feel like an oddball...me n my dad use 7" YUM dingers w/ 2/0 gammy ewg's lol!

what we do is a little trick...when youre threading the worm on the hook to texas rig it, you usually thread it on a quarter inch or so then come out, turn it around, and pierce it again......well.......thread the hook about halfway down the entire worm, ten come out and proceed like normal. that way you are able to use a lighter hook and still have the hook in the midle of the bait for better hook ups.
