In smaller diameters (#6) I think the green or white are fine.

However, if you fish gin clear water, original Hybrid is the ticket.

The green matches up almost perfectly with clear water, smoke

for stained water.

If you are fishing #12 on a baitcaster, the green Ultra Soft is what

I recommend, but there is still a visibility issue. This is because the

Ultra Soft formula has a higher percentage of nylon vs fluorocarbon.

#12 original Hybrid is manageable on a baitcaster, especially when

treated with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. Green for clear water,

smoke for stained.

because all lines are visible in water including flouro!!!flouro is just less visible than others.

If you're looking for a stealthy line, Ultrasoft is not the best. It is incredibly strong but quite visible. If you're concerned with visibility you could always use a flourocarbon leader. However, I don't think line visibility is as much of an issue as people think it is.

The only way for a line to be "invisible" under water would be if it had the same light refraction index of water, such thing is hardly possible, even the most less visible lines are visible.

The catch is, ok your line has low visbility, but it 's not against water what you should measure the visbility, it 's how well it blends with the surrounding, that 's when the line "dissapears" from the sight of the fish.

Line visibility is seldomly an issue for most fishing situations, the only time when line visbility is an issue is in open crystal clear water which is rare, there 's always some kind of background against what the line can blend, of course that for high visibility environments in my experience choose the less visible line in the lowest line diameter you can get away with depending upon cover type and density and/ or bottom composition.
