well, bought a used TD SOL that was unfunctioning for a price that I couldn't refuse.  When I got it it worked but was rough and the spool wouldn't engage by cranking, had to manually push the thumb bar up to engage.  But now?  BUTTA

O.K...thought you may have done a bearing upgrade or something too..

With the strict tolerances that Daiwa uses in that reel, there is no real need to upgrade bearings. The multi disc drag system is next to none, so no need to upgrade those either...

It is just a great fun time ML/FW, L/SW reel....
