Don't be in a hurry. Shop garage sales where you can pick stuff

up almost for free.

I visit "antique" shops and have found seven old lures that I have framed.

The store had many more.

I also picked up some oldies at a local antiques store and last Sunday I bought an L&S 12M25 USA topwater popper for $5.25.

Can't find anything like it on the web other than a reference to a 1965 model of this lure.

Also received an old Creme Du-Dad from a lady who lets me fish off her dock at a local pond. It belonged to her husband.

Added to my collection is an old T-2 Blue Scale ThinFin lipless crankbait by Storm.  No ZIP code in the Norman, Oklahoma address so you know it was produced before we started to use ZIP codes.

I have an old Zoom Spook and an old spoon.

It is fun to walk around various antiques stores and see what they have. Give it a try as you go around town, on business trip, or visiting or driving through an area.

You may surprise yourself when you start finding lures, rods and reels.  :)
