Just wondering if you guys name any of your rods and reels. I named my two favorite combos.

Lucille-  BCR893 GLX w/ Chronarch 50mg

Curtis-  Dobyns 684CB w/ Chronarch 100 BPV

Okay, i have heard and done some crazy stuff but this is outright ridiculous, LOL! But then again, i could be wrong!!!!

I call it my gear, or equipment, my wife named them "those damned fishing poles".

I have 2 things that are named. All of my X raps are named "ol reliable" and my boat is named "the other woman".

If you lock Lucille and Curtis in the rod box long enough, would you wind up with a new little rod and reel in 9 month's?

Their names cannot be repeated on a family forum.

All my rods share the same name, BABY and SWEETHEART.

And yes, I talk to them while fishing.  In fact, they are in the rod rack about 3 feet from my computer desk and I glance over every now again to see how they're doing.
