ande mono line

Featured Replies

has anyone used this line and how is it on a baitcaster??? ill probably be using 10, 12 pound test.. i usually use p-line, but im tired of the old green and clear and wanted to try ande because of their varities of colors..

I used to use it all the time in salt water.  Not the thinest line and it does have quite a bit of memory but it is very strong and the price is right.

The thing about Ande is that it breaks right at the test weight.  None of this "10 lb test that breaks at 12.5 lbs" stuff.  That's why so many fishermen seeking records use it.

More world records have been caught on Ande than any other line.  I use it..

hands down my favorite line for mono....

until about 8 or 9 months ago (when i switched to all braid) ande was my only choice...... fresh and salt.

its a strong line, for a great price.... that i have caught nearly all of my fish on in the past.

I have not used it my self, but know some down here in Florida that would not use anything else on their conventional reels.  Records speak for themselves, that's reputation.

I do not use floro leaders, but use Ande 30 & 40# for my leader stock.
