I have several of the BPS pro qualifier reels but have never used the rods. Anybody out there ever use one if so how are they?

I've looked at them, and they seemed nice....But I've never fished with them, and that is all that really matters IMO.

this is true I've held them in the store plenty of times but never actually fished with one so I'm just looking for the field test feedback type a deal.

I have owned two of the 6'6" medium casting rods.  They are actually really nice sticks for the money when on sale. They have nice components and are built pretty well for a budget rod.

They are pretty light and sensitive. They are what I learned to worm fish with and they served me well. 

I'll say that based on feel alone, the BPS rods take a big jump up in quality once past the $100 mark....

When I bought my BPS Elite rod I looked at the Pro Qualifier and Signature series and ended up going for the bling and cool factor of the recoil guides.

Which honestly I think they are worth it. Either they add tons of sensitivity and reduce weight a bunch or the Elite really has a great blank.

I have one PQ, a 7' MXF that is is my light jig and plastic rod. It is a great rod for the money in my opinion. I use it more than any of my other baitcast setups. I have a PQ reel on it and it is just slightly tip heavy. It is a nice combo. 8-)

elite blanks are the same as signature series.

I have a 6'6''M baitcasting rod paired with a Quantum Code.  It doesn't get used much now but was my favorite set-up for a long time.  A great rod for the money.

so far i had no complaints for my set up. i have the pro qualifier combo with the 7.1 ratio. the rod held up so far. i use mine for frogging and even wacky rigging.

I have a 7' spinning pq.  Dont like the reel seat system on it, and i think its alittle heavy.  all in all, not crazy about it.

I have a 6-6 MH casting rod (paired with a PQ reel) and love it.

The PQ rods are nice.  But they all seem stiff to me, though.  I never found one that I think would make a good spinner bait or treble hook rod. 

I have 2 PQ 6 ft.Med spinners.. I absolutely love them.. very light but very strong..  I pitch worms (wacky) 99% of the time and bought it because of the shorter handle. Does not catch on my clothes...

One rod is 8 years old and still going strong.  I bought the 2nd just last year.. Wait until they are on sale...
