worm and jig combo rod help??

Featured Replies

i've been wanting a bait casting combo and wnat to start with a worm/jig combo. i'm planning to get a 6:4:1 reel and a 7' mh or h fast action rod. price range is 150 to 200.

is that a good combo or should i change to a faster reel or different rod? Really need help cause i dont want to mess up on my first bait casting combo. any help will do?? thank you so much.

no boat, fresh water,

Just stay basic go with a 7 foot rod and a medium speed reel(6:2:1). This should be good. For companies go with what you like the best there are lots of great rods and reels out there for that price range. I would recomend Rogue Rods they make a very light and sensitive rod. Here you go:

Buy the Avid AC610MHF and match it with a

Shimano Citica. If you're patient, a Citica will

show up in the Flea Market sooner or later.

Good luck!
