I pre-make all my leaders for C-rigs, but have yet to figure out a way to truly keep them neat and organized in my tackle box. Wondering what others are doing.

I was doing that for a while, but never did find a real good way to keep them neat and organized, so I stopped pre making them.

Small freezer zip lock baggies?

I say freezer because the plastic is thicker and stiffer. The lightweight sandwich baggies would bunch up much easier.

Or possibly some type of folder.

Fly fishing leader wallet.  It has small ziploc sleeves, lays flat and has a velcro closure.  BPS has one under their White River in house brand.   I use it all the time walking the bank saltwater fishing.

Fly leader wallet is a great idea, I just carry leader line with me in my fanny pack along with a few other essentials. Offshore I carry a small tackle bag, I wind my pre made leaders around a piece of cardboard or a top from an old plano box and tape it.

That problem has alread been solved by several inventors. Here is one of them that I use with a hollow tube for carrying the beads, swivels, and weights:

You'll frequently find these in with the walleye tackle as I believe that was their original design purpose (bottom bouncer/spinner combos). When you first unwind a new leader, a quick stretch of the the leader before tying on will usually take out most any of the curl that might have set in from being wrapped.

Wow! The Tackle Tamers from Cabela's that Wayne P. suggested is a great idea. I'll have to get one for myself.

How about a fat pool noodle? Leaders wrapped around with hooks stuck into the foam and cut to whatever size will fit in your tackle compartment. That's if your on a boat.

Otherwise a cd case, not the jewel cases but the nylon wallet type ones with pages.

Works for storing spinnerbaits too.

Great idea, but I'm fishing out a 12 foot Jon, and looking for something that would fit into a XPS 360 bag. But, thanks for the great info.

HOIST-N-HAWGS, the Tackle Tamer model will fit in your pocket easily. That is were I keep mine when I am Carolina rigging in timber when I am breaking off a lot.

I use old reel filler spools.
