GLX Jig and Worm

Featured Replies

Think I'm going to suck it up and just save up the extra 150 dollars or so and buy one of these bad boys.. I really want one for my dedicated jig and worm rod and I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for me? I was looking at the BCR854 model. Thanks  :D

Good call!

The 854 is an outstanding choice for a wide range of jig and worm fishing.  It does great with big worms and football jigs in deeper water, but also is fantastic pitching a 1/2 oz jig into cover.  Paired with the right reel, it can handle lighter duties as well.

forget your budget dude, this is fishing!

hahaha I am just trying to make myself feel better.

ive never tried the 854. ive been eyeing it for my next purchase.

i like fishing lighter jigs most of the time and i love the 803 for this.

Mine is paired up with the Curado 200E7, which

complements the rod perfectly. This will be your

favorite rig!

The BCR's will blow your mind.  It is well worth the extra dough.  If you want a dedicated jig/worm rod, one from this series is the way to go.

If you plan on fishing jigs more than plastics, and fish a lot of cover, the 854 will be great.

If you plan on fishing moderate to sparse cover, the 853 will be a better all-around stick.

yep, yep, yep you will be hooked after you buy one of these. Get your wallet ready. :D

I have the BCR893. It is AWESOME!!! It is very light and extremely sensitive. You will not be disappointed.

I have a BCR854 and love it. You will not be disappointed. However, it will cause you to want more Loomis rods..................Al
