;D That would the "Women In Waders" 2010 Calender. My buddy passed it off to me before his wife saw it. ::D Being single has it's benefits sometimes.

Amazing what's under all the grime. You really want to take everything down, especially the line guide components to check for wear. Same for ALL the bearings. Once they are all flushed of old lube, you can realize the full potential hiding in a used reel.

Great idea using that muffin pan to hold the parts.

However, that calendar still tops the muffin pan.

My pictures are cropped close....I'd just make you all jealous if somehow my real life assistant made it into the pics, LOL.

Fantastic advice! Thank you. To show my appreciation..........

How'd you get a pic of my assistant?

8-)

I've found my co-angler for the season!

In fact, she can even drive the boat and operate the trolling motor and stand on the front deck.  I'll just sit in the back of the boat and watch.

Wondering how one becomes certified/authorized to do Shimano reel repair and maintenance?

Thanks,

Paul

Aw that's easy man.  You just send them an email asking for permission and put one of those pictures in it.

She's so hot, I hardly noticed there's no reel on that rod.  But then, she's not out there for the fishing.  If I were there I wouldn't be either. :D

There is definitely a reel there, look again.  I didn't think there was the first time I looked either.

OK I looked about ten times and still haven't seen a reel or a rod for that matter.

Let me look again :D

I know, you'll see it on the 11th look.  That's when I found it.
