"Spring Classic" best buys???

Featured Replies

has anyone determined what some of the best bargains are gonna be at the Spring Classic yet?

depends on what you are looking for...

For people new to baitcasters, they will have a decent looking bass pro brand BC reel for $40 (12962, reg price $80) or a reasonable Daiwa for $100 (12227), or a KVD Quantum for $90 (105-27751).

25% off BPS XPS cranks, Kermy frog for $3.99, redeye shad lipless cranks on sale, Lowrance fishfinder for half price (1002726)...

Most of what I saw was low to mid range gear on sale, nothing really high end.

I'm looking forward to the buy 2 get one free line, and the 5 for $10 370 or 360 boxes they have that is a deal of the day.

yeah I thing zoom is supposed to be 20% off

Yeah, but if I'm not mistaken, TW prices are already BPS sale prices...

I'm really not seeing much.  Or is it just me?

The deal on the Pro Qualifier Rain Gear is enough for me to pull the trigger.  $50 off = 28% (+ double points tomorrow).

Yeah, I agree nothing to really pull me into the BPS Spring Classic either.  Not enough deals on lures I want to try out, not willing to pay Lucky Craft $$.

$20 of on Pro Qualifier and Extreme reels.

Zoom products are 25% off.Last 2 years have been a bust for me.. Nothing much I want but will wander there anyways.  20 packs of trick worms will take care of my inventory.  Good place on a rainy day...

They have BPS Stik-o's for 3 bags for $10.  I haven't read a bad post about them. 20% off their new x-9 (?) swimbaits. (Didn't pcik any up, haven't headrd anything about them) Extreme rods were $69, reg. $99. $20 off extreme reels. 25% zoom plastics, $3.75 Buckeye Mop jigs.. Pretty good sales goin on.

Garbage sales. I took an hour drive, took an old reel and traded it in, then didn't even end up getting a reel. haha I was about to get a Revo SX but decided against it in the store. Then picked up a few lures, 2 of which were on sale and rest were regular priced. The only good thing about today was I did get a slow sink 6in BBZ rainbow trout that I'm excited about.

Thanks. I  can't wait to try it it just looks so good I couldn't resist. I was surprised at how nice it looked in the store, and even though it was 5 dollars more than TW I knew they didn't have the slow sink rainbow in stock, plus it was the last one on the shelf, so I got it anyways.

Spend $350, go get lunch, head back to BPS and spend another $350.

Two trips. Problem solved. :)
