I have been using a Jansport 2Day hiker backpack and a BPS Extreme soft plastic bag.  If you weigh the two, it is about 40-50lbs all together.  

My back pack was 37lb last year but now is more like 45-50lb my softplastic bag is 20lb  and my 2nd soft plastic bag(all gycb) is about 5lb. my storage bags are about 10-15 each

 Some days it weighs way to much and some days it seems I need just a few more things.

about 20 pounds :-/

I'm not sayin anything!!

I use an Extreme 370 bag and I have it pretty full.  It weighs in at 23lbs.  I have a few more 370 boxes that I swap in and out based on the day.

Which one? I have too many to count. Depends on time of year and length of tour. No way everything will fit in one bag if you have the variety necessary for all conditions. Sounded like an excuse for carrying too much gear didn't it.

So in other word, despite what the wife says, I can buy more gear!!!!Great!!!!!!!
