I just picked up one of these for a good price and can't wait to fish it.  The detail is amazing.

You guys got a favorite color of the Pop Max?  

It is not a lure I would usually purchase but I could not resist it at the price I paid.  Any info on this lure would be great.

i got a river2sea bubble popper (pop x replica) for 5 bucks. i got it in the aurora black color which is like a chrome blue with a black back. havent had a chance to fish with it yet but im excited to see how the open gills affect the action on it.

Any color is a great in megabass! one in each would be outstanding

The Pop Max is big 1/2oz popper and I think the Pop X is just a smaller version.

I promised the tackle shop that I would not mention their name because a pricing issue but I got it for $15.  They had all sorts of colors.  I picked up a M Hasu.

Get the River2Sea Bubble Popper, it comes in a variety of colors, and it's reasonably priced.

thats the one that i got. looks very nice. its well made too. doesnt feel cheap at all. cant wait to use it.

I use the Pop Max (1/2 ounce) and Pop X (1/4 ounce.)

Largemouth love the pop Max and smallmouth love the pop X

My favorite color to throw is the Midnight Bone in the Max size and Black Bug in the Pop X size but I live in Ohio and its overcast often.  Clear days I switch to a lighter color or frog.  If you are an ebay person you can usually find a little better price...I wish they were cheaper but they outfish every other top water popper I have tried.

These things may become addictive. The detail just blows me away. I have come to the conclusion that these things catch more fisherman than fish.

But, WOW. They are just to cool. That bait monkey is going to kill me.
