I have one but would not buy another , their like a cue stick , just not woth the money unless their 50% off.

A pretty good deal when on sale.  They aren't the best in the world but they get the job done.  I really liked my extreme spinning rods that I had, my dad ended up with both and I even bought him one of his own.  I don't think you'd regret paying $60 for one, pretty good at that price

For the money they are good as far as the trigger rods go.  Very durable and get the job done.  I've had one for about 15 years that has served me well.

I don't like them at all for spinning.  They are too heavy.  When I fish with spinning gear I want something with more of a finnesse feel/action.   For a similar price I like the Fenwick GT.

Kind of an echo of all the others...ok if gotten cheap. I bought a light action to use for crappie. It's great for this application but I wouldn't buy one for bass fishing.

Keep in mind ALL BPS stuff goes on sale at least twice a year. 

And also remember that their are PLENTY of other good rods at $100. 

I used one all summer and I was not overly impressed by it. I'd agree there are better sticks for the price range.

The Extemes are on sale now (until November 13) in the BPS Christmas catalog for $59. As mentioned, there are lots of good rods at the $100 price point, but at $59, the Extreme is a pretty good rod. I have 7 Extremes - all purchased for around $45 to $70 on sale...

I have the 7' MH Extreme spinning rod, O.K. - a couple of them. I really like this rod and use it for skipping finesse jigs around docks or heavy cover, and also for "finesse Carolina rigs" a favorite on Table Rock and Beaver. Easier to throw a 1/4-ounce weight and finesse worm on spinning into the wind. I also use it to throw lighter weight swim jigs around cover.

Anyway, I like it because the two-piece version is handy for co-angler duties in tournements as I sometimes drive to them in a smaller vehicle.

As for the action it is medium-heavy. It's not whippy or tippy - it has backbone. For all-around spinning duties I'd go with the Medium action version, but if MH is what you're looking for, you got it with this stick.

It isn't the lightest, it doesn't have a split grip, but at that sale price it's pretty hard to beat, so that's why I have several.

Wow, if it's for that size spinnerbaits I can't be much help - I use casting gear for spinnerbaits that size.

You did say spinning - correct?

I have an extreme spinning rod that I really like.  Not sure I would use it for spinnerbaits, but I guess you could.  I will probably get a casting rod at that $59 price, and put a $69 PQ on it.

I have a 6'-6" MH that I have used for cranks for the last three years. I wouldn't use it for plastics though.

I have two of the 7ft MH Bionic Blades 2-pc rods. They are heavy, but I think you'd actually like the action for fishing spinnerbaits.  It's a little slower action than fast, without being too slow.  We used them primarily for pike when we lived out west, but now I use them for spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, some soft plastics, skipping, and whatever else I need at the time.  Not a great jig rod though.  Not awful, just not great.
