What is the advantage/purpose of buying a larger size reel such as the curado 300 vs. the curado 200?

    That's it? I thought there might be some sort of performance difference, or some specific technique that would need a bigger reel.

    IIRC, doesn't the Curado 300 has a 6.X:1 gear ratio instead of a 5.1:1 or 7.1:1 ?

    The only app for my Curado 301, is swimbaits, usually heavier baits 3 oz and up. Great reel, especially when tuned properly.  ;)
