What spinning reel would everyone suggest for a St. Croix Mojo Bass Rod, the Medium/Heavy Power Spin Rod?

You are going to get answers in regards to all the current quality reels out there in a specific price range. Check out the offerings from Abu, BPS, Cabelas, Daiwa, Dicks, Gander Mountain, Quantum and Shimano and get what feels good to You and in your hands. Every company has made a lemon now and then so my opinion on a brand or specific reel may vary from someone else.

Something in the 2500 size class, maybe next size up.

What's your price range? There are ton of reels out there that'll work, and the Mojo being tip-heavy would make me lean towards a slightly heavier reel to help balance the combo a bit. Something along the lines of the Pflueger President XT might not be a bad choice.

I'd go with an Al framed reel.  Something in the 2500 or 3000 class.  One spool of 8# fluoro, and one with 20# braid.  You'd be ready to rock with that.
