Lake Fork

Featured Replies

Not heard much about Lake Fork, not even from some of the guides.  Anyone know how the fishing is right now.  Was there back in October and it was very, slow.  The Fishing Reports about Fork have been vague to say the least.  Must still be slow!!!

I'll narrow it right down for you.  It's Lake Fork.  This time of year, be prepared for everything.

Huh Tom's reports vague?  :-?

Dude that is the most detailed report you will read by any angler world wide, the only thing he didn't give is GPS locations.

I'll explain it for you  :)

Seasonal Pattern: Pre-Spawn; means bass are susceptible to weather changes & will move up during warming trends & back off during cold fronts.

Location Patterns: Points, grass flats, and creek channel bends near spawning areas; self explanatory

Lure Pattern: Spinner baits, jigs, and lipless crank baits; fish these baits in those locations

Sorry if I offended.   Certainly did not mean to do that!!!!!   I know the breakdown that Tom and others give, but have learned to read between the lines in certain instances.  Long Mike probably summed it up best!!!

I've heard it has been a little slow.  Thats probably b/c a lot of fish are really deep right now.  If you can find some though it could be on they bunch up more this time of year in similar size.

One must keep in mind that any fishing report is nothing more than a history lesson  :)
