Pretty cool that SMP has smallies!  My last guesses are Lake Quivira  or Lake Olathe if they have smallmouth.

I don't believe Olathe has smallmouth. They have wipers though I've only caught crappie, bluegill, and lmb there.

Here are some pictures and the video from the giant I caught at LaCygne this weekend. She weighed 10 ls 15 oz and released to fight another day.

Fished LaCygne Sunday- I started up lake and noticed quite a few boats in the river section. I pitched flooded brush and water willows for a while ending up with one fish about 2lbs.

No smallmouth in either, although Quivira use to have pike.

I give up.  I'll see if some of my buddies know. ?

Watched the video, was able to figure it out. :D Never fished that lake but have wanted to. Maybe I will change that this year.

It's pretty easy to figure out from the video if you've ever been to the lake.

Don't work too hard. I know a lot of guys that fish the lake a lot and I haven't ever heard of a  largemouth that size coming from there. Most go there hoping for one of the monster smallmouth. I caught my PB smallmouth there a couple years ago that was over 5 3/4lbs.

I most likely won't go there unless I can go with my buddies.  You've got me all interested now, so I want to find out lol.  Maybe go for those smallies.  That is a great smallmouth pb! I've caught hundreds of smallmouth, but not one on a baitcaster.

My smallmouth pb is a generous two(probably 1.5), caught at Beaver river near Branson:

Those river smallmouth are a blast. My smallmouth PB was on a spinning rod with 8lb test and a small jerkbait.

WOW!!!  I would've need a change of underwear after that!  Super pretty fish and super pretty dogs!

I've got another guess: Eureka CITY lake?

Went out to wyco yesterday evening, on my neighbors boat.  I caught a small LMB, and a decent white bass.  Water temps reached 64.8, fish were hitting bugs in the back of Boy Scout.  I got bit on a frog twice.

Shad were getting wild spawning on the banks on Wednesday. This one was particularly frisky.

WYCO has been weird this spring. Water has been dirty since it opened. I was out there Wednesday for 4 hours, caught 6 short bass and one 2.5 pitching a jig in the laydowns. Watched another guy catch a 5+ bass on a buzzbait.

I know I’m not the first to the party, but I don’t think it’s in full swing yet. Got this guy on my second cast. Couldn’t tempt another on all morning.

Got my first frog fish of the year this weekend as well!

Fish are on beds.  I got my first ever bed fish, it is an awesome bite!

I've been on Milford since Thursday afternoon. Wind was horrible a couple days so I shifted gears and got the family out for something different and we ended up having a blast.

Agreed. That's a pretty stout Rainbow as well. Be a pleasant surprise to pull one of those up while bass fishing.

@Fir3hawk Sorry guys for the late reply got busy when I returned to work.  The Smallie weighed 4.07.  I did throw the rainbow back @HaydenS. I was using panoptix chasing a ball of shad in a cove catching them all on Kietech swimbaits.  My dad and I caught around 50 in 2.5 hours.

Got the "W" in my second kayak tournament of the year at Melvern Saturday out of 35 anglers.

Been on a solid dink bite from the bank at Gardner. Stop by after work each morning since it's about 1 minute away for 30-45 minutes of spot hopping. Usually get 1-4 a morning, using a Black Dog Baits Shellcracker. All dinks, but still fun.

Took the kayak to Olathe after work Tuesday morning. They were chewing a bladed jig really good, but I wanted to fish a big bait so I sacrificed numbers in favor of big bites and caught neither, until I picked up the bladed jig again the last 30 minutes.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any good recommendations for someone here locally that can troubleshoot/diagnose issues on a Lowrance HDS 12 SI/DI units? I am looking to pay to someone for the service. My father bought a used boat and the electronics worked well initially but now having trouble with sonar and reading depths. I imagine it may be a transducer issue but am willing to pay someone to meet on the water or at my home to troubleshoot. We have used Bass Pro in the past with previous units but haven’t had much luck. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

Went to wyco today with my neighbor, and we caught 4 bass and lost two, before the rain started.  Lost a good fish.   Best day I've ever had out there.  Slowly figuring it out.

You might have a little bit more success with this in https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/forum/45-marine-electronics/ , if you haven't been sent a pm already.
