I'm on the broken boat list again??? Friday I was fishing the hot water outlet (97*) and the air temp was about the same and I had an overheat alarm go off!

I've got a water pump ordered and a pair of thermostats but I'm not sure when they'll arrive yet.

Had a pretty fun morning at Lone Star. On the water by 6:45 and off by 9:45. Found a few solid 2-2.5# fish and boated probably 15 others in the slot. Bite was dead by 9:30 and the wind picked up quite a bit so I was over it. All T-rigged plastics, Fatty Craw and Pit Boss. Bigger ones came in deeper water under docks, probably 7-10 foot. BASS THUMB!

Good looking fish guys. That's a healthy up and coming fishery! Very fun lake and I've only been on it for 3 hours.

You could fish Olathe with just a trolling motor no problem, or there might be someone that wouldn't mind you hopping in the boat with them.

The wife and I got out to Lonestar as well Sunday morning. A little tough to get her to get up very early so we go there probably about the time you left. I can't remember how many we caught but it was probably around 25. She caught all hers on the Ned. Nothing bigger than about 2.5lbs but it was still great to get out. This weekend I am heading north to South Dakota to visit family. Hopefully we will get some fishing in.

DVR it. After the performance they put on Saturday it's not worth watching live anyways!

Wish I could fish these Thursday nighters with you guys. Sounds like a good time and good group of guys but I work at Cabela's on Thursday nights and most Saturdays.

Hate to say it but just found out I won't be able to make it Thursday night either.

OK fished lake Lenexa yesterday at 4 pm to about 8. Water was clear with about a 10 mph wind.I focused on shallows by grass and caught my pb largemouth (my pb sucks) on a lipless crank and then another on a swim bait. Decent day of fishing nothing special I'll take it for august
