My field staff and I are hitting Sugar Lake Mexico next week. Anyone fish Sugar recently? If so, what is your opinion of the lake and any thoughts on tactics?

I have heard the same thing. All the lakes are full or above normal pool right now. We might have a good bite in the shallows. Everyone I have spoken says it is a great crankbait lake. I went ahead and shipped 34lbs of plastics to the guide to avoid taking them on the plane. I think that should last 8 guys fishing for 3 days

Wow, what a pig! It must be nice when you let out a grunt when you pick up your fish.

I hope to be "grunting" a lot! ;D Been looking forward to this trip for a while now.
