  1. Wow! That's an awesome looking fish.
  2. x3...that's the way I understood it as well.
  3. Thanks for the heads up Glenn. I can't wait to see the show. I can't believe that even the east channel bridge didn't give up at least one smallie. I guess that shows you how big that front really was. Oh by the way, just out of curiosity, those spots that he hit wouldn't have been some of your secret spots would they? Hmm, I guess I'll probably never know.
  4. I think this show was half salmon and half bass fishing. I don't think the weather was very good and the fishing was even worst. If I'm not mistaken, Glenn was there and Iaconelli actually used his boat to fish for bass. Glenn would be the one to answer that one.
  5. Who says you can't breed a possum to a hippo?? Science is a crazy thing. All above is exactly as I would have stated it. I do know before I networked my boat, I looked into a generic cable and connectors that would have been cheaper, however I could not find a place to purchase them. I would think with a generic cable and connectors the possibility of connecting different unit might be possible. But, as I know it, the different manufactures are pretty proprietery. You pretty much have to use their stuff to connect and communicate back and forth. Hope that helps.
  6. If the steelers win I will hurl. Cards 27 Pitt 13
  7. Wow! Now that's a fishin' trip well worth it. I can only imagine that the sushi bar owner will profit it from it none the less. 100 grand for a blue fin tuna and 10 bucks for new menus...Sushi just got a little more expensive.
  8. x2, but I'll add...that in those reviews several said they returned their faulty charger back to BPS (even after warranty) and they actually did the right thing and replaced the charger. I would assume that BPS knows there's a problem with their onboard chargers and would probably do the same for you. Good luck. I'll second the DualPro chargers as well.
  9. I just assumed he would have two shows...one for freshwater and one for saltwater. I like it...a new background in his show! :
  10. That's too funny!
  11. Bassin'.............awesome FLW..................great BassMaster.......good (for one reason..."day on the lake") If I had to choose it would be FLW. It's more informative, has better articles, and is layed out much better. my 2 cents...and happy holiday's
  12. When I turn my sonar on and the 'ducers out of the water I can hear an audible tick, tick, tick. How does that sound in water?
  13. That is sound advise, but at your expense...very funny.
  14. I would like to second that...very impressive and outstanding pics Marc. Thanks for always sharing your insight and stories, not just on this site but where ever you have the chance. You are highly respected in this state and I hope to some day get a chance to meet you.
  15. That would make a great article. Record 'eye on 6 lb test....how heavy would that be?....10-11lbs?
  16. Marc...very nice Burbout. I didn't know they had tournaments for freshwater ling. I would venture a guess that you caught that at Banks? I saw one of those cruising the shallows in one of the airport bays last year. Very strange fish indeed. Word on the water is they're very good eating.
  17. Good tip Glenn, I hadn't thought about them being closed. :-/
  18. I recently had a problem with my sonar units. I have a lmx-17m at the console and a lms-520c at the bow (both networked together). It's seems that when I have both units on and the ping speed maxed out it interferes with my 17m. It completely loses bottom contact and won't read the depth correctly. After changing all kinds of things I finally figured out what was going on, set them back to 50% ping speed, and haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps.
  19. I bought a 520c for the bow of my boat last year. I decided against the 522 so if there was ever a problem with the internal antenna I wouldn't be down the sonar and gps while it was in for repairs. I've never heard of anyone having any problems with the 522, nor do I forsee one, it was just an ease of mind that I wouldn't be down both at the same time.
  20. I know Balinger, Bitter, and Green have largemouth in them...as far as "packed," I'm not sure about that. Good luck out there.
  21. I caught my buddies head once...he screamed like a little girl. Teach him to stand in the middle of the boat.
  22. A lot!! But mostly, wake boarders and rock bass...I don't know how many worms I've lost to them little ^@%$@!$.
