Bass fishing Cuba.

This is on my short list. I understand Cuba has some of the best waters for bass. Anyone ever been? It's pretty cheap to go, and since I have dual citizenship USA/Mexico I figure why not. ;)

Guys this is primarily aimed at our international members, or those with dual citizenship.  As you may know, it is still illegal for US citizens to travel to Cuba.

Hey Redline, I am anxiously awaiting the lifting of the ban. I have read every article written that I could find on Cuba bass fishing. I believe Roland did a show down there, but I may be mistaken. I have heard of people flying to Canada and then to Cuba to get there. I would never try that, so until then, I am waiting.

I figure why not. ;)

'cause the guys in charge of that country are not good people......enough said.

Well now guys, let's not get into a discussion about the political environment of another country.  Just understand that this site has visitors from over 190 countries.  As far as I know, all but the U.S. allow their citizens to freely visit Cuba.

This is NOT a commentary on U.S policy, but rather a simple statement of reality.  It is what it is for various reasons.

This means Robert's post is targeted towards those people who can freely visit Cuba - and have.

Looks to me he's asking for information from anyone with firsthand knowledge, which (obviously) omits any U.S. citizen.

Agreed.

So, anyone ever fish there?  Can you recommend lakes and or guides?
