Any one here from new york, and if so what city. I'm from around Buffalo and I am in the Western New York Junior Bassmasters.

Rochester, NY here.  I fish with Flower City Sportsmen.  A few of us get your way to fish 18 mile, Catt, and Oak Orchard for cold steel in the fall and winter.

From Syracuse--grew up in Oswego.  Fished for everything, but there's nothing like a bass---smallmouth or largemouth!

Very cool, that's usually my off season sport!

That's an 18 Mile slob hen in my avatar, caught on a trout bead last fall:

Rochester here! I fish for steelies in the streams in Jan, ice fish for perch and pike all winter, troll for browns in april and May, bass fish from June till September mainly in the Thousand Islands or Irondequoit and Braddocks, troll for staging kings till they run in October, then I hit the streams again. Only time i don't fish is when Im at work, and then I'm online reading how to improve! I fish from the Oak to Sodus, mainly in the bays or within a mile from shore. No clubs yet but would like to join someday! Im glad to see a few from around this neck of the woods. If anyones looking for someone to fish with, send me an email! shanepdale at gmail.

Another WNY'er here, I am from Warsaw.......a small town 50 miles east of Buffalo, 50 miles southwest of Rochester. I can generally be found fishing Silver Lake in Wyoming county 3-5 times a week, and make many trips to the other surrounding area lakes/water like Conesus, Honeoye, Sodus bay, I-bay, and of coarse Erie. I am not a club fisherman, I fish the York Bass Club opens (all of them ar e open), the Southern Tier Bassmasters opens, and the Thursday night "working man" tournaments on Silver Lake.......thats enough for me. I pretty much chase LM and SM bass exclusivly from ice out till I put the boat away, then it's on to the ice for panfish.

I am from Cooperstown.  Fish for bass (L & S) and love to trout fish!  I think I may need to take up ice fishing.  These winters are brutal!

I am from the Rochester area as well (Churchville for those who are familiar with it), but I spend most of the year except the summer at college in Geneseo.

I'm Rich Tehan, I'm from Marcy, NY but you can usually find me up in the 'dacks in the summer.  My favorite lake is Raquette Lake, and my home lake is the Fulton Chain and Delta Reservoir.  I'm a boater in the Camden Bassmasters.  I'm rt36crazyfists on nybass.

Rochester NY, from irondequoit just joined rochester bassmasters and plan to fish there point tournaments this year

K Fox here, I only fish for Largemouth and smallmouth but don't mind the fight of a Northern. I lived on Long Island untill I went to SUNY Plattsburgh on Lake Champlain. I lived there for the past couple of years. I was part of the Adirondack Bass Club. But I am in the process of moving to syracuse. Im looking into finding a club out there. I fish the federation, some BASS opens, the ABA all as a non-boater.

Unadilla, NY- I love the smallies :D

Delaware County, Love the West Branch!!!

Binghamton! I fish what's about a 30 mile stretch of the Susquehanna between Bingo and Nichols. I love them smallies! I also chase greenies on occasion in the local ponds.

I used to fish Erieville Reservoir quite alot, which is close to Cazenovia.

I haven't been on in a while, but its nice to see some fellow Western New Yorkers on the site.

I am located in Gowanda, and fish the Cattaraugus Creek daily during the season of bass... last year was an amazing year for smallies in the Catt Creek.

Wellesley Island smack dab in the middle of the St. Lawrence River and surrounded by smallmouth bass and northern  pike. Heaven on earth.

Erieville is a great little reservoir!!  Not much size, but you can kill the 14-16 inchers.  The walleye fishing has gotten pretty good there too.

Watkins Glen, I spend all summer competing in open tournaments all over the Finger Lakes and southern tier, but I recently graduated from college and need to find a real job so who knows where that will take me with the way things are now
